DESCRIPTION:

Weekly figure drawing classes include a curriculum, at-home practice and monthly critique by arts professional, Ron Milton. Models will be posing nude and/or in costume for various lengths of time throughout the evening. Registrants are required to bring their own drawing tools and materials. Life Drawing supplies now sold in WAG Gift Shop.

Introduction to Silkscreen Printing  
LEVEL: Ages 16+
INSTRUCTOR: Paulina Szczesny

DESCRIPTION:

Students will be introduced to silk screen printing. Discover the proper tools, techniques and have a basic understanding of the history and terminology. All materials are included in the cost of registration. However, if students wish to print on fabric or t-shirt, please bring with you the day of the workshop.

 

Introduction to Monotype Printmaking
LEVEL: Ages 16+
INSTRUCTOR: Ron Milton

Wednesdays, February 8-15, 2017

DESCRIPTION:

Students will be introduced to monotype printing. This type of printmaking is considered to be the most painterly and produces non-editionable prints because the images and lines usually cannot be reproduced, so no two prints end up being perfectly alike. Discover the proper tools, techniques and have a basic understanding of the history and terminology. All materials are included in the cost of registration. Students are asked to bring images or photographs of interest to use as reference material.

 

Introduction to Drawing

Create a print with sunlight and water and your imagination. Solar etching is a form of printmaking that uses photo sensitive plate, sunlight and water to provide the artistic ingredient and none of the chemicals and acids of traditional etching.
