The newly renovated WAG at 449 Dundas Street occupies 2 floors of the former historical John White Building located in the heart of downtown Woodstock opposite Museum Square. The WAG is Oxford County's largest municipal public gallery with a permanent collection of over 1000 works.
The WAG celebrates works of art representing local, regional and national artists. On the first floor, the Carlyle Gallery features historical works from the renowned Florence Carlyle Collection along with her contemporaries. The Main Gallery and second floor Community Gallery exhibits throughout the year emerging to established artists and hosts touring and guest curated exhibitions.
The WAG conducts Adult, Teen and Children's classes, workshops and programs and offers Volunteer opportunities, Membership benefits and Facility Rentals. Come visit the Gift Shop: the go to place for unique items made by local artisans and consider Art Rental for updating your decor and add new works to your private art collection.
Enjoy monthly film screenings during the season offered in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit Group (TIFF), take a guided tour of the galleries and participate in art appreciation programs such as artist talks and lectures.
